Jarrod's construction company teamed up with another company to take part in the annual "Can-struction" project. It's a big fundraiser for the Oregon Food Bank where construction companies design and build a structure out of canned food and it is displayed for a week in the Pioneer Square mall. After they are done, people can vote and all the cans get donated to the food bank. This design was suppose to be a big doughnut inside a coffee cup. They used a lot pineapple cans and veggies. I love that he has such a passion for charity and helping others. He also recently became one of the board members for his company's charity foundation. We are so proud of this guy...
Although they didn't win the competition, they had so much fun for such a good cause... here is a picture of the winner... Wreck-it Ralph.
I'm excited to see what they come up with for next year!
