Sports Sports Sports! Watching the Pink Dragons...
OH BOY(S)
There is nothing more amazing to me then watching the relationship these two have. It makes me feel like everything is right in the world when I watch them play and see how in love Brayden is with his Dad and how in love Jarrod is with his son. I could never ask for a better Dad and feel so blessed and honored to be a part of it.

Feeding the Hungry & Worming Our Souls
One thing I love about Jarrod's company is that they love getting involved in the community and helping this less fortunate. Today, we, along with some others from his company volunteered at the local food bank. We have done this many times before and each time is always so gratifying knowing we are helping people just like you and I. I always tell Jarrod that it's good for the soul to help others. On this day we were bagging frozen veggies and here is our stats for the day...
In 2 hours...
Pounds of food : 9,380
Meals : 3,816
Per Volunter : 134 people served
Anyone can make a difference... and I wouldn't want to spend my Saturday morning any other way. and BIG shout out to the AMAZING aunt Meag for getting up early to spend the morning with Brayden!!
It's Story Time
Brayden and I read books ALL the time. In the morning, afternoon, evening and many times in between. Recently Jarrod and I have caught him talking and talking and talking and when we got and check on him... this is what we find. He's reading all of his books to the dogs. It's so cute that they both just lay there and "listen" oh, these poor dogs... I hope they know he loves them so much! They are good sports and put up with A LOT from this little ninja!
Don't the dogs just look so thrilled?!?!
Aloha... Surf's UP!
Now if you read my blog on the regular... you'll know that I think my little guy is one of the cutest out there! And this just justifies what I've been saying the whole time. He's the so darn cute. This day it was SUPER hot out... He needed a new hat and when we got ready to head out to play in the water, I couldn't help but take a million pictures because he's so CUTE!
Our Hawaii trip isn't for a few more months... but it can't come fast enough. I have no doubt Brayden's going to fit right in!
MDW (Mother's Day Weekend) & Prom
My second Mother's Day was a great one! It started off with a fun trip to the beach with Jarrod's parents on Saturday. Although it took Brayden a little while to play and run around in the sand, it was still a lot of fun!
Later Saturday night we all met at the Old Spaghetti Factory to celebrate Jordan's birthday! It was so yummy... and to top it off it was prom at all the local high schools, so we had an amazing time looking at all the beautiful (and revealing) prom dresses! Did I say beautiful dresses? I meant to say "Where were the parents when these kids were choosing these dresses?" My Oh My how times and dresses have changed since I was in school... but it was fun nonetheless. (awww to be 16 again)
On Sunday Jarrod surprised me with a manicure and pedicure at my favorite little spa. I brought Meag along to enjoy it with me! We sipped mimosa's and enjoyed some snacks all while getting pampered! My boys sure are amazing and I absolutely LOVE being a mom! Brayden also colored me this BEAUTIFUL picture in my mother's day card! He's so stinkin' cute!
Speaking of prom... that weekend was also my little sisters prom! Here she is looking oh so dressed up and fabulous! It's so crazy thinking she's old enough to go to PROM! It seems like she should still be running around in diapers, eating dirt and taking baths in buckets! Sorry sis... Love ya!

Wine tasting with CrAzY girls...
A few months ago a group of us girls bought a fun Groupon for wine tasting and which included a limo ride to 3 different wineries... and last Saturday we had a fun time using it! We all met on the party bus (turns out the limo was really a fun party bus) and went to 3 different tasting rooms. I brought along my camera and we had so much fun taking 10 pictures in a row at each place. Although I'm not a big wine drinker it was fun to taste the different kinds. We brought yummy food and drinks for the bus and had a super fun day! Enjoy all these crazy pictures!
Ps. This is a MUST do again!
