When I took this picture, I thought to myself... "soak it up son" because one day you'll be pushing me around while I sit back and relax. haha.

SMILE
I thank my lucky stars, God and my husband (Love you hunny) everyday that I get to spend day in and day out with this kid. He amazes me everyday and makes me laugh, even though he is learning how to push every button I have... I couldn't imagine life any other way.
I spy with my little eye... Brayden
I was calling for Brayden this morning... and this is where I found him. I guess Lexi got her spot taken. This kid cracks me up all the time!
Praying for Boston... And the World
With all the recent negative events happening in the world, I wanted to take a minute to acknowledge all the good in the world. Here is to all the people who spend their whole lives doing good for other people, being passionate about positive things and turning negative events into something good for the world and mankind. Here's to focusing on the people who are fighting to keep America free and the citizens in it safe, here's to all the people who stand up to the negative and keep their eye on the prize.
When you're standing at the gates of Heaven... will God question your actions during life? I pray not only for Boston, but for every person in this world... the good and the bad.

Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who caresfor you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering,or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations, and say continually: "The Lord is mystrength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me,
and I in Him."

More Puddle Jumping
With a fun filled and busy weekend in Hood River we also made it across the river to visit more family. Great Grandma Carol and Grandpa Gary were there to do more puddle jumping and rock pile climbing. He loves visiting over there and gets so spoiled with Great Grandma's homemade cookies... I don't think I've ever been over there where she didn't have yummy treats for everyone!
Easter Weekend
Easter weekend was such a fun weekend. It was full of family, friends, laughter, eggs, food and not forgetting why we are celebrating this holiday in the first place. We counted our blessings and are so grateful for everything God has given us.
On Saturday we headed to our annual easter egg hunt at the (you guessed it) zoo! We decided to grab some breakfast and head there before it got crazy busy... too late for that. We got one of the last parking spots and while everyone was rushing to the zoo we decided to eat our breakfast on this train. It was such a fun start to our day. After our crazy egg hunt at the zoo and some animal watching we met up with Meagan and Jordan and headed down town... it couldn't have been nicer out, weather in the 70's and good company! We walked around the waterfront and watched all the weird Portland people. After that, we headed back to our house for some fun in the sun and egg coloring. It was a perfect day.
Sunday we invited some friends over to hang out and have dinner with us. With good food, friends, lots of chocolate and some backyard basketball it was a lot of fun.
Memory List:
Choo Choo train breakfast
The millions of kids at the easter egg hunt (for only 2 eggs)
Brayden being scared of Peter Rabbit
Walking around the waterfront
Meagan and I watching the pirate girl on the river
Seeing all the crazy people at the Saturday market
Coloring easter eggs on the front porch while Brayden drops and breaks them all
Mimosas and Rummikub on the deck while sun bathing
The boys having their "Bell-Button" basketball game in the backyard
Tyler spilling his beer on the potatoes - Vanessa spilling her beer on the table
Tyler again spilling his water all over the kitchen counter
Brayden doing his egg hunt and eating candy in the backyard

John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.

Mud Puddles and BUGS
Brayden, Bella and Lou Lou had such a fun day jumping in mud puddles, getting ridiculously dirty, bug watching and just plain LOVING life. Watching these three kid-o's makes me think about how short life is and how we all need to take time to jump in mud puddles once in a while. I can only imagine in a blink of an eye they are going to be headed off to school, facing triumphs and I'm sure heartbreak, making mistakes and finding great accomplishments in all they do.
My wish for all 3 is that they follow their dreams and know that they have the support of the world behind them.
